Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Silver Sierra LLC ("Silver Sierra," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit silversierra.com (the "Site") or interact with us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
We aim to be direct about what we do with your information. If anything below is unclear, please contact us — we're happy to explain.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit a contact form, schedule an introductory conversation, or send us an email, you may share your name, business email address, company name, role, phone number, and a description of the situation you're navigating. We collect only what you voluntarily provide.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting and analytics tools may collect basic technical information — including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and approximate location (city or region). This information helps us understand how the Site is being used and improve its performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
Respond to your inquiry and prepare for a conversation with you
Explore whether Silver Sierra is the right fit for your organization
Send you materials or follow-up communications you specifically request
Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or targeted advertising.
3. Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the Site functional, and understand aggregate usage patterns. We may use analytics tools (such as Framer Analytics) to collect anonymous data about how visitors interact with the Site.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some Site functionality.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate the Site and conduct business. These services may process your information on our behalf under their own privacy policies:
Hosting: Framer (framer.com/legal/privacy-policy)
Scheduling: Calendly (calendly.com/privacy)
Email: Outlook
Analytics: Framer (framer.com/legal/privacy-policy)
We share information with these providers only to the extent necessary to deliver the Site and respond to your inquiries.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following situations:
With service providers who help us operate the Site and communicate with you (as listed above)
When required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or regulatory request
To protect rights — ours, yours, or others' — if we reasonably believe it's necessary
In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case successor entities will be bound by this Policy
If we ever form a formal consulting engagement with you, confidentiality of any additional information you share will be governed by a mutual non-disclosure agreement and the terms of the Master Services Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW).
6. Your Privacy Rights
You have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
Delete your information (subject to legal retention obligations)
Withdraw consent for future communications at any time
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address in Section 11. We'll respond within 30 days.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (which Silver Sierra does not do). You may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address in Section 11.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for interpreting this signal, our Site does not currently respond to it.
7. Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or to comply with legal obligations. Inquiry information that does not lead to an engagement is typically retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymized. Information related to formal engagements is retained for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by applicable law and our professional obligations.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Users
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, our practices, or the Site. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Effective date." Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
